About the Exhibition
This exhibition is a collaboration between the work of Pablo Picasso, a giant of 20th-century art, and British designer Paul Smith. Combining works spanning Picasso's various periods and styles with Smith's creative design, it offers a playful experience that crosses the boundary between art and design. The exhibition presents Picasso's work chronologically from early to late period, harmonizing his innovative exploration with Smith's original ideas. More than 30 works are on view, including signature pieces such as Head of a Bull (1942), Portrait of a Man (1902-1903), Bust of a Woman (study for Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, 1907), The First Communion (1919), and Portrait of André Derain (1919). Visitors can experience the fusion of art and design.
