This exhibition sheds light on the artistic influence of Pavel Tretyakov, who played an important role in Russian art history, and on the development of Russian art through his collection. Its theme is understanding the tradition and contemporary development of Russian art through the works Tretyakov collected. Major artists include Aleksandr Lépin and Ivanov Ivanov, with signature works such as Russian Spring and Victims of War.
