About the Exhibition

Centered on the work of Mexican artist Néstor Jiménez, this exhibition explores his artistic world, in which he dynamically portrays the urban environment as a living organism. The cities in his paintings are depicted as spaces where the ideological remnants of the past coexist with the dreams of the present, characterized by a visual narrative where history and reality intersect. The exhibition's title, 'The Blue Noise Spectrum,' reflects his intent to explore the complex identity of the city through the resemblance between the wavelengths of color and sound. The exhibition comprises about 30 works, captivating visitors with a multifaceted composition mixing urban landscapes, figures, and abstract elements. One of his signature works, The City of Shadows, symbolically renders a space where past and present intersect, leaving a strong impression on visitors.
