About the Exhibition

My Art Museum Samsung Branch, in cooperation with the Musée Marie Laurencin, presents Marie Laurencin Retrospective: Dance on the Rainbow from April 10 to August 23, 2026. This exhibition offers an opportunity to appreciate the life and artistic achievements of Marie Laurencin (1883-1956), who built a singular artistic world while active in the Paris art scene of the early 20th century. Some 100 carefully selected works, including oil paintings, prints, and drawings on paper, trace Laurencin's artistic journey across her entire life. It is an occasion to encounter the elegant perspective of an artist who, without becoming absorbed in the conventions of her era's art, held fast to her own world to the very end.
