About the Exhibition

Groundseesaw Central presents SERIOUSLY NOT SERIOUS, the first large-scale solo exhibition in Asia by Max Siedentopf, regarded as a next-generation contemporary artist following in the footsteps of Damien Hirst and Ron Mueck, from March 27 to August 30, 2026. He is a conceptual artist who has left a strong impression on the Korean art scene through collaborations with Gentle Monster and Jennie. Based in Europe, he twists mundane daily life into something unfamiliar and infuses it with sharp humor, earning collaboration offers from global brands such as Gucci, Nike, and Apple. This exhibition is his first solo show in Asia, introducing his entire body of work spanning sculpture, installation, photography, and video in one place, structured as an omnibus that moves through different stages and situations like a journey.
