About the Exhibition

Rhinoceros and Unicorn is an exhibition that looks anew, through a contemporary sensibility, at the order of the world once promised by old stories. Taking the familiar ending 'and they lived happily ever after' as a starting point, it explores the boundary between reality and fantasy, treating the uncertainty of judgment and outcome as art. The exhibition organizes the entire gallery like a wordless picture book, allowing visitors to experience the story in their own way by following the arrangement of images and mood. Participating artists include Lee Jeong-yun, Creative Collective A, Chu Mi-rim, Ayaka Fukano, Bálint Zsakó, Jumadi, and Magoz, each reinterpreting old stories from different cultures in a contemporary form. In the storytelling lab in the latter half of the exhibition, visitors can experience the exhibition's flow more deeply through books, archives, and read-aloud video content, while workshops and screening programs extend the experience beyond the gallery.
