Themed 'Flowers: Symbol of Beauty,' this exhibition explores how flowers have carried beauty and symbolism within human culture. Organized by the Tretyakov Gallery, it shows the relationship between nature and humanity and the diversity of artistic expression through flowers. The exhibition includes signature flower-themed works from Russian and European art history, with works by 19th-century Russian painters Aleksandr Laktionov and Ivan Aivazovsky forming its core. It includes 40 works in total, spanning the 18th through the 20th century, exploring the development of art and its cultural meaning through flowers. Visitors can sense the harmony of nature and art especially through Aleksandr Laktionov's Flowers of Spring and Ivan Aivazovsky's The Sea and Flowers.
