Kikuni Special Exhibition: What I've Drawn, What We've Become

About the Exhibition

This exhibition was planned to expand the work of Kikeuni, an artist beloved primarily online with 1.2 million followers, into an offline space, allowing visitors to encounter the work directly and experience moments of deep empathy. Alongside flat works based on drawing and illustration, it presents pieces expanded into various forms including video and installation, showing a free mode of expression unbound by format. Rather than feeling difficult or unfamiliar, the works are arranged so that anyone can view them comfortably while recalling their own experiences. The sentences and scenes within Kikeuni's work reach visitors as though speaking directly to them, and visitors naturally join that conversation — nodding, laughing, and sometimes shedding tears.
