About the Exhibition

This permanent exhibition explores the artistic spirit and spatial thinking of Lee Ufan, a leading figure in Korean contemporary art, centered on his body of work. To offer a systematic understanding of Lee Ufan's aesthetics, it displays his major works and related materials, organizing his artistic journey both chronologically and by theme. The exhibition includes Lee Ufan's paintings and sculptures, with works reflecting his concept of 'space' forming its core. Held in the 'Lee Ufan Space and Outdoor Sculpture Park' within the Busan Museum of Art, it presents some 30 works in total. Visitors can directly experience Lee Ufan's distinctive aesthetics and his pursuit of the concept of 'space,' and in the outdoor sculpture park, they can appreciate his sculptures in harmony with nature.
