About the Exhibition

Titled 'FLOWERS. Meravigliosa natura,' this exhibition is a new show themed on flowers in nature. A follow-up to the earlier exhibition 'Flowers. Dal Rinascimento all'intelligenza artificiale,' it explores the relationship between art and nature. Spanning multiple periods and styles from the Renaissance to today, the exhibition re-examines the relationship between humanity and nature through flowers. It includes about 120 works in total, organized into four sections. In particular, it compares the work of Renaissance painters with contemporary artists, showing the process by which nature has been elevated into art. Visitors can compare Renaissance-era still lifes with contemporary works using digital media, with the Renaissance-era flower still lifes standing as the exhibition's highlight.
