About the Exhibition

This exhibition sheds light on the innovative influence Henri Matisse had on the art world. It shows how Matisse redefined painting, exploring his creative thinking and artistic turning points. Running from March 10 at the H'ART Museum, the exhibition presents about 50 works in total. Spanning multiple periods and styles from Matisse's early work to his late experimental work, it systematically organizes his artistic journey. In particular, it includes his signature work La Blouse roumaine, held in the collection of the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Visitors can directly experience Matisse's experiments with color and exploration of form, gaining an opportunity to understand the influence his art had on modern art.
