About the Exhibition

This special summer exhibition, held in the garden of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, presents rich sculptural works by Japanese artist Isamu Noguchi. Held in a garden space where nature and art harmonize, the exhibition presents his signature Akari lighting, ceramics, and design classics in the gallery. It is organized to allow visitors to experience Noguchi's globally beloved design and sculpture in a fresh way, set within nature. The exhibition includes more than 10 works in total, divided between the garden and the gallery. Visitors can appreciate sculptural works in the garden and gain deeper understanding of his design and ceramic works in the gallery.
