About the Exhibition

This exhibition explores how the stars, planets, satellites, televisions, videos, numbers, and letters that appear in Nam June Paik's work come together to form a single world. Centered on 〈Venus〉, 〈Sirius〉, and 〈Rocket Ship to an Imaginary Venus〉, it illuminates the encounter between Eastern thought and Western technology. It is an occasion to present Paik's planet, in which different media and signs form new relationships and are regenerated within the viewer's senses.
