About the Exhibition

Since its debut in 2001, Art Spectrum has established itself as a platform for discovering and supporting emerging Korean artists, and from 2024 it has expanded the scope of participating artists to Asia, presenting in-depth special exhibitions that reflect the dynamic currents of the art world through various forms of international cooperation. In 2026, it is co-organized with the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. Art Spectrum 2026 encompasses Asian art, film, design, architecture, and experimental music, attempting an experimental exhibition format in which institutional structures and non-institutional energy, and differing sensibilities and temporalities, generate creative tension. Held at the Hoam Museum of Art for the first time since Art Spectrum began, the exhibition will expansively make use of the interior and exterior of the Hoam Museum of Art — in harmony with its traditional garden — and other sites, transforming into a living stage and interface throughout the exhibition period.
