In the News
A set consisting of the calligraphy work "Baegindangjungyutaehwa" by patriot An Jung-geun and a printed copy of his death sentence sold at a K Auction sale for 2.7 billion won. This is the highest price ever paid at a domestic auction for a calligraphy work by An Jung-geun. "Baegindangjungyutaehwa" is a phrase meaning "in a household of a hundred acts of patience dwell peace and harmony," and it bears the "danjijang" — the print of the palm of An's left hand, with its ring finger cut off.
