Antonio da Correggio

About the Artist

Antonio da Correggio was an Italian Renaissance painter, born in 1489 and died in 1534. Active in Correggio, in northern Italy, he left behind work that captures the essence of the Renaissance. His artistic world is marked by natural lighting and vivid figural expression, and he is known for landscapes that convey emotion and movement with great skill.
